The Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority is an independent, public entity funded primarily by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The FWBHA is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners, and they are appointed by the Fort Walton Beach City Council.
The Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority assists low-income individuals and families by providing housing units in either the public or private housing markets via Section 8 and Public Housing.
Hours of operation:
Monday thru Thursday
12:30PM - 5:30PM
Office closed at 11:00 am on the last business day of the month
7:30 to 9:30 on the Second and Fourth Mondays of each month.
We are closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
